Detail

This Department of War video was identified by AARO among records requested by U.S. House of Representatives members in March 2026. AARO assesses the footage likely came from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in November 2020, uploaded to a classified network that month. The clip runs about four minutes and 58 seconds.

The sensor keeps a low area of contrast centered while its relative intensity increases, a second area of contrast briefly transits the top right corner, and the sensor then pans from the first object to the second to keep it in view. AARO notes this record and DOW-UAP-PR077 are not duplicates: both depict highly similar subject matter but are distinct. The description is informational only, and the record was released through the PURSUE declassification.
