Detail

This Department of War record, released through the PURSUE declassification, was identified by the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) among materials requested by U.S. House members in March 2026. AARO assesses the 17-second clip likely came from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating in the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility. A user uploaded it to a classified network in June 2024.

The clip shows no content for its first 13 seconds, after which an area of contrast moves into the sensor's field of view from the left edge and exits to the right. The description is provided for information only and reflects no analytical conclusion about the event.
