This PURSUE-declassified record stems from a March 6, 2026 request by eight members of the U.S. House of Representatives for access to 51 potentially UAP-related records allegedly held by the Department of War and the Intelligence Community. The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) identified responsive materials on a classified network, many lacking a substantiated chain of custody.
AARO assessed that this eight-minute, 16-second video, given the uploader-defined title "UAP USO Formation (Mission)," likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform. A user uploaded it to a classified network in June 2024. The media was digitally altered before upload and is presented as received: four areas of contrast transit the frame, and the video appears to cut multiple times while applying various contrast filters and zoom levels. The sensor zooms in on the four areas, which grow increasingly indistinct as the video quality degrades before an apparent cut back to an earlier, clearer portion.
