Following a March 2026 congressional request for 51 potentially UAP-related records, AARO located this five-minute, two-second video on a classified network. Titled by its uploader "Syrian UAP instant acceleration," it likely came from an infrared sensor on a U.S. military platform in the CENTCOM area in 2021 and was digitally altered before upload.
This PURSUE-declassified record stems from a March 6, 2026 request by eight members of the U.S. House of Representatives for access to 51 potentially UAP-related records allegedly held by the Department of War and the Intelligence Community. The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) identified responsive materials on a classified network, many lacking a substantiated chain of custody.
AARO assessed that this five-minute, two-second video, given the uploader-defined title "Syrian UAP instant acceleration," likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in 2021. A user uploaded it to a classified network in June 2024. The media was digitally altered before upload and is presented as received: the sensor tracks an area of contrast that rapidly exits the frame when tracking stops, after which the clip replays with various enhancements (edge thresholding, slowed playback at 50%, 25%, and inverted black-and-white values) interspersed with annotated black screens. The Department of War provided the description for information only.
