This PURSUE-declassified record contains two minutes and 17 seconds of infrared sensor footage submitted by U.S. Central Command to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). The video was captured by a U.S. military platform in the Middle East in 2020.
A related Range Fouler report described the phenomenon as a solid white object moving erratically above the water. In the footage, an area of contrast enters and re-enters the sensor view while the camera pans, cycles through contrast settings, and zooms in repeatedly. A blue reticle briefly appears but never locks onto the object, and the sensor loses track when it switches to a different imaging modality.
