Summary

U.S. Central Command submitted a 2023 UAP report to AARO consisting of nearly five minutes of infrared footage from a U.S. military platform. The accompanying mission report mentions that a UAP was observed during the mission, and the video shows the sensor zooming in on and repeatedly losing an area of contrast.

Detail

This Department of War video file documents a UAP report submitted by U.S. Central Command to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) in 2023. The footage runs four minutes and 57 seconds and was captured by an infrared (IR) sensor aboard a U.S. military platform. An accompanying mission report (DoW-UAP-D23) mentions that a UAP was observed during the mission.

The video description notes no content for the first 1 minute 55 seconds, after which an area of contrast becomes distinguishable on the right side. The IR sensor then pans and zooms to center on it; for the remainder, sensor motion causes the area of contrast to move erratically, with the system repeatedly losing and reacquiring it. This description is provided for informational purposes only and should not be read as any analytical judgment or conclusion. The material was released through the PURSUE declassification.
